Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RSS Wear ("the app"), published by Espressoft ("we", "us"), handles information on iPhone, iPhone Duo, iPad and Apple Watch. RSS Wear works on your devices and doesn't need an account.

Information we do not collect

We don't ask you to sign in, and we don't collect your name, email address, contacts, location, or the feeds and articles you read. Your list of subscribed feeds and which articles you've read are stored only on your devices.

Reading feeds

To show you the latest articles, the app downloads feeds and article pages directly from the websites of the publishers you subscribe to. Like any web request, those publishers may receive standard information such as your IP address. Their own privacy policies apply to their websites.

Searching for feeds

When you search for a topic on the Add Feed screen, the text you type is sent to Feedly's feed search service to find matching feeds. No account or personal identifier is attached to the search. See Feedly's privacy policy for details.

Apple Watch

The watch app gets your list of feeds from your iPhone using Apple's WatchConnectivity, directly between your paired devices. This data is not sent to us.

Purchases

The app offers an optional one-time in-app purchase, Unlimited RSS. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Please see Apple's privacy policy for details.

Analytics & tracking

The app does not include analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.

Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we don't collect personal information at all, the app is suitable for general audiences.

Data retention & your control

Your feeds and reading history remain on your devices until you remove them or delete the app. Deleting the app removes this data. Purchase records are kept by Apple under its own policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
